Celem kursu Kriogenika jest przedstawienie studentom metod otrzymywania najniższych temperatur. Omawiane są metody skraplania i niskotemperaturowego rozdzielania gazów. Przechowywanie i transport skroplonych gazów. Zastosowanie cieczy kriogenicznych. Materiały konstrukcyjne w technice niskich temperatur. Technika pomiarowa w niskich temperaturach. Celem przedmiotu jest także nauczenie projektowania podstawowych instalacji kriogenicznych do produkcji, przechowywania i transportu skroplonych gazów.
